| The "World Smile Day" event, inaugurated for the purpose of "making the Smiley Face the cornerstone of world peace", the earnest wish of Harvey Ball during his life, started in his hometown of Worcester (Massachusetts) and was carried on after his death by his son Charles Ball (representative of the Harvey Ball World Smile Foundation). Year 2018 was the 20th anniversary. |
